Rock Cobbler 10.0! This was probably the wildest route I have ever raced, period. 130km of fast fast gravel, 30-40% grades, lots of hike-a-bike through cow poop and deep mud, and cowboys everywhere trying to help ~750 racers not get hit by bulls (see vid from last year). Around 20 km in, the course literally went through somebody’s backyard/pool party and then living room, which was a total deluge of shots and donuts (I proudly did not puke). It was humbling to get properly dusted by the 2021 XCC world champ and usual gravel suspects. This was my first top 25 in a race of this scale… stoked, but still a long way to go.
